SWANLEY fighter Leon Senior predicts fireworks when he fights on the James DeGale undercard at Bluewater on November 16.

The 33-year-old light heavyweight will have the home crowd advantage and cannot wait to get in there and deliver.

“I’m really looking forward to it a lot, there should be a good few there to support me as well,” Senior said.

“It’s nice to be on a local show and it’s great to be on such a big show with the likes of James DeGale.

“I can't wait.”

Senior faces the undefeated and highly-rated Arfan Iqbal, 22, at Bluewater’s Glow.

But having successfully defended his BBBofC southern area light heavyweight title against Dan Woodgate last time out, he feels ready to blemish the young fighter’s record.

The Swanley ace said: “I’m going to give 100 percent, give it my all as I always do and make him look elsewhere for another win.

“I know he’s undefeated but I’m going in there to win and I think I’ll put a dent in his record.

“It’s definitely going to be exciting, as I’m certainly not easy to beat.

“I think my record shows that and he’s going to be a hungry fighter, he’s young, upcoming and unbeaten, so there should be some fireworks in our fight."

Senior fights on the undercard to DeGale MBE’s WBC silver super middleweight title defence against Dyah Davis at Glow, Bluewater on November 16, featuring an all-star line up, live on Channel 5 from 10pm.

Tickets are priced from £40 and are still available to buy from the Hennessy Sports Box Office on 01925 755 222 or at hennessy.ticketline.co.uk
