BIRCHWOOD Park Golf Centre is offering people who have never played before the opportunity to try the sport for free with its new coaching programme.
The Learn Golf initiative offers a relaxed and informal introduction to the game, which is ideally suited for people of all ages that have never tried golf before.
With all participants receiving two free coaching sessions, the scheme will operate throughout 2013, offering a fun and friendly introduction to golf for all at the public pay-and-play facility.
Hosted by Birchwood Park’s PGA professionals Leon Stanford, Richard Fox and Ben Williams, the two sessions include use of all equipment and introduces participants to the basics of golf from tee to green.
Birchwood Park general manager Melanie Drake said: “Starting any new sport can be a daunting experience.
“The two free golf lessons are an ideal opportunity to give golf a try for free with like minded new golfers in a fun, relaxed environment.”
