A YOUNG boxer from Sidcup collected a silver medal while representing England at the GB schools three nations tournament.
Jimmy Roe, 14, was fighting in the U54kg class two category beat Kieran Roberts in the semi-final before losing to Scotland’s Craig Morgan in the final.
The Crayford Bodyshots ABC member said: “It was a fantastic experience boxing for England for the first time.
“I feel I didn’t box to the best of my ability, but at least I lost to a very good boy in Morgan.
“On another day, who knows?
“The experience I have picked up is unbelievable and will only help me to become even better.
“I’d also like to thank my fans and everyone for the continued support they have given me.
“It is very much appreciated.”
