CRYSTAL Palace-based basketball side London Lions enjoyed a profitable weekend with back-to-back wins.
They overcame Worcester Wolves 94-76 on Friday before defeating Mersey Tigers 86-60 on Sunday.
Coach Vince Macaulay is delighted with the progress his new look club have made.
"We are delighted to come away with two wins over the weekend," he said.
"It has been important for us to establish the Lions in London and I feel we are now getting somewhere.
"The fans identify with us the players are slowly coming around to my way of thinking and considering we are just ten weeks old, it's a remarkable achievement."
Lions now have a week off before hosting UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders on December 7 (7.30pm).
