WESTCOMBE Park enjoyed a 36-13 success at Hertford on Saturday.
Ryan Fuller and then Rob McPherson-Smith exchanged penalties midway through the first half before Graham Purdy finished off a stunning Combe move for the first try.
James Lewis negated that in short order and the scores were locked at 10-10 with the conversions.
Hertford had a flanker carded in the 34th minute but the kick was missed from the resulting penalty.
On the stroke of half-time Fuller made no mistake to give Combe a narrow interval lead.
Trent Nattrass broke through early in the second half and Fuller added the points and a penalty to open the gap.
Hertford briefly closed the gap before Fuller (pen) and tries from Ben Hough and Charlie Edwards sealed the bonus point and a convincing win for Westcombe Park.
