THAMESMEAD Town are the new leaders of the Kent Football League Premier Division after a 3-0 win on Wednesday evening at Tunbridge Wells.

John-Paul Collier opened the scoring in the first before Ricky Cable netted a second half brace to leave Wells rooted to the foot of the table.

Sporting Bengal United and Slade Green shared the points in a 1-1 draw, Paul Gross netted for Green while Foyzul Hoque equalised for the home side 20 minutes from time.

In the Premier Division Cup Group C encounter, Croydon and Whitstable Town drew 2-2 to remain at the top of the group table.

Croydon's goal scorers were Matt Fowler and Neil John, for the visitors Jackson Ohakam and Stuart King were the men on target.

Elsewhere, Deal Town and Herne Bay played out a goalless draw while there were goals a-plenty at Erith and Belvedere.

Lordswood were the visitors enjoying a 2-0 by half-time thanks to a brace from Gary East.

Ian Hilaire got the Deres back in the game on 54 minutes before East completed his hat-trick.

With 10 minutes left Daryl Wilson made it 3-2 and on 84 minutes Leon Braithwaite brought the hosts level.

However, Lordswood's Dave Forster grabbed a 90th-minute winner to condemn the Deres to more league misery.

Meshach Nugent bagged a brace and Dave Hassett scored the goals with saw off Sevenoaks 3-2 at Meadow Borough - Tony Atkins and Mike Cook scored for the visitors.

High-flying new boys Faversham were on the receiving end of the shock of the week at Hythe Town going down 3-0 - John Walker, Roy Godden and Buster Smissen with the first half goals.
