ELTHAM Town FC won the London FA Senior Challenge Cup with a 2-1 final success over FC Tripimeni at Wingate & Finchley FC.
Keeper Nicky Blue, who went on to be named man of the match, made some excellent early stops before Callum Comerford rose at the far post to give Eltham an interval advantage.
FC Tripimeni were back on terms on the hour but Ted Catchpole headed home the winner 10 minutes later to seal the trophy for the SE9 side.
Manager Gary Penny said: “Credit must go to every player for their will to win, tenacious tackling and immense work rate.
“Make no mistake Eltham Town beat a very good FC Tripimeni side and credit to them for making it such a good cup final.”
