BECKENHAM Town enjoyed a 3-0 home win over Erith Town last night at Eden Park Avenue.
From the start, the game was played at a high tempo with the home side creating all of the chances in the opening exchanges.
Becks took the lead after 20 minutes when leading marksman Jake Hobbs scored with a swerving free-kick into the top corner.
Elstrom Die poached his side’s second eight minutes later after some good work by Harry Draper.
After the break, the visitors pushed forward in an attempt to get back into the game but Becks limited their chances to just one single shot. With two minutes to go Ben Slade picked up possession just inside his half, outpaced two Dockers defenders before drilling a left foot shot into the bottom corner.
It was good value for money as Becks, playing on an unfamiliar Monday night, produced one of their best all-round performances of the season.
Becks travel to Woodstock Sports on Saturday, kick-off 3pm.
