THE Priory School completed a hat-trick of Silver Jubilee Cup victories by winning 4-0 in the 2011 final after successive victories in 2009 and 2010.

This year's opponents were St Simon Stock School (SSS) from Maidstone.

The Priory took the lead after six minutes when Glancy raced onto a clearance by Merricks down the inside right channel.

She outpaced her marker and left her team mates behind, the angle was against the confident striker but she unleashed a thunderous strike that went thought the goalkeeper and in off the far post.

This early inspiration had the reigning cup winners hungry for more and they pinned the opposition back in the early part of the game.

The SSS goalkeeper was called into action again and made a great save to tip a Glancy volley around the post.

SSS had fought hard to get to the final and were not going to just to sit back and be over run.

They slowly began to force their way into the game and their centre midfielders were playing their part in a great midfield battle with King and Ingram.

The Priory were aggressively taking the game to SSS, Glancy was hit the bar with a looping shot, Ingram had a free-kick sail just wide and The Priory had a number of corners cleared as they hunted for goal number two.

With some solid defending, the team in blue grew in confidence and their strikers and midfielders become more involved in the game.

Priory started the second half with a succession of corners and doubled their lead after Jeffrey volleyed home right footed from 15 yards.

On 56 minutes another great corner from Pepper was met head on by King from six yards and the score was 3-0.

It was extra special for the captain as she along with the first goal scorer Glancy, have has featured in each of The Priory’s three finals.

With the wind in their sails the Priory mounted attack after attack.

Feagan started a move in the left back position, Glancy left her marker behind with a fantastic turn and crossed towards the penalty spot.

It was met on the volley by Jeffrey, although her goal-bound effort was blocked by one of her team-mates.

The loose ball dropped invitingly for Feeney and the substitute stabbed the ball home from ten yards with her first touch.
