THE Blues have won the premier division of the Bromley & Orpington Sunday League by seven points to secure promotion to the senior division.
In September 2005, the Blues U17s left junior football and joined the fifth division of the league, winning promotion every season to become premier champions within six years.
This season they won 81 of the 112 games, drawing 22 and losing just nine.
The squad has an average age of just over 21 and is captained by Ben Elliott.
Chris Charlton, Luke Dunne, Charlie Nesbit and Joe Ivory all joined during the youth days and are still at the club.
Manager Alan Charlton was delighted to have taken away Valley Valiant’s unbeaten home record to win the league. Charlton has a long history as a player and boss at Blues and took up the mantle of managing the boys 10 years ago.
