CRAY Wanderers U15 have enjoyed a season to remember after completing a treble trophy haul.

The boys won the Kent League Cup with a 5-2 final win over Dartford thanks to strikes from Sam Norton, Alfie Pavey, Dan Parkinson, Luke Adams and Charley Robertson.

Norton was also on target in the final of the Kent Cup, where Cray overcame Rusthall 1-0.

And the prolific striker, who grabbed 31 of Cray’s stunning tally of 168 goals this season, was among the Wands players who scored in Sunday’s 6-0 demolition of Crockenhill as the Wands retained their Kent Youth League title for the third consecutive year.

Pavey. who was just behind Norton in the scoring charts with 30 goals this season, Dan Parkinson (3) and Sean Adams completed the rout over Crockenhill on a day to remember for the club.

The boys are coached by Welling United captain Jack Parkinson.

He said: “It’s a fantastic achievement for the boys who have worked so hard all season and will now be heading off to Porto to test themselves against four professional clubs, including Porto.

“Since U13 level the team have won the league three times, the Kent Cup twice, the Kent League Cup and the London Cup.”
