DARENT River Football Club have been awarded the Charter Standard by the FA.
The award means the club, which was formed just 20 months ago, benefits from kit and equipment grants and child protection training.
Darent River started with 20 boys and girls the club has rapidly grown to more than 80 members who are all coached by FA qualified coaches.
To qualify to carry the FA Charter Standard crest the club had to fulfil criteria including self-screening of managers and coaches and a commitment to liaise with schools.
Board member Mark Hutchins said: "We are very proud to have achieved the FA Charter Standard.
