IAN Jenkins' men needed a second half come back to claim all three points in this end of season kick-about.

Gary Abbott's penalty and Ross Lover's second strike of the campaign overturned a 1-0 first half deficit.

The game's other talking point were the straight red cards dished out on 18 minutes to Leigh Bremner and John Boswell for squaring up to each other with their foreheads.

Prior to the match Cray Steve Northwood picked up the supporters' player of the year award but on eight minutes he picking the ball out the back of his net after Mo Ceesay scored from six yards.

A minute later the Cray bench were incensed after referee Gavin Hoare waved away a penalty appeal when, after good close ball control, Michael Power appeared to be tripped.

After the double sending off, the match petered out as a contest for the remainder of the half although Junior Baker and Power could have done better with shots on goal on 29 and 45 minutes.

Cray came out for the second half as if Jenkins had read the riot act and they were soon level after Baker was tripped in the penalty area.

Abbott, still looking strong at 41, bamboozled the goalkeeper and trickled the ball to his right.

Two minutes later Cray had the lead when Power's cross was carefully placed past the helpless Andy Parkinson from six yards by Lover.

Banstead introduced former Bromley favourite Bobby George and they showed a little more guile up front although they never truly threatened Northwood's goal.

The match ended with Cray comfortably holding on to the win and it brings an end to a remarkable season at Hayes Lane.

They finished 11th in the Ryman League Division One with Leigh Bremner and Gary Abbott leading the goalscoring chart on 17.
