Hayes 1 v 3 Welling
Nationwide Conference South
WELLING climbed to sixth in the Nationwide Conference South after a comfortable win at struggling Hayes.
Goals from Matt Bodkin, Jamie Day and Danny Kedwell secured the three points and maintained the push for a play-off spot.
With just 10 games remaining and three points separating third from seventh it looks set to be an exciting run in.
Wings boss Adrian Pennock (above) said: "It is a great win as this is a hard place to come.
"But the boys showed a lot of character especially in the second half and I thought we deserved to win."
Welling played Farnborough Town who are lying third last night.
