CULVERSTONE surrendered the First Division leadership when they went down to their second consecutive defeat at home to The Rising Eagles.

Joe Cooke hit a hat-trick as the Eagles found the net six times, with Ross Penrose, Sam Potterton and Ben Giles also on target.

Culverstone were always in the game and replied four times through Ryan Usher (3) and Nick Callaghan.

Gareth Williams and Dayoola Dada maintained Bean’s fine run of recent form in a 2-0 success over Fleetdown United B, a result which sees them climb up to third.

Nathan Harpum gave Earl Grey an early lead against NK Aces Reserves but parity was restored before the break thanks to Nathan Taylor.

Terry Woolen’s penalty put Aces in front for the first time but Earl Grey responded in style to claim top spot by scoring twice to seal a 3-2 win.

Kent Celts held on to first place in Division Two with a 2-1 away win at YMCA Dartford.

Celts took the lead with a Jason Bannister goal and five minutes before the break they doubled their advantage with a fine 20 yard lob over the YMCA keeper by Bannister.

In the second half YMCA came more into the game and pulled one back in the 65th minute to, but Kent Celts held on for three more points.

Lying second are AZ 82, who were away to Oakfield.

The opening stages were a close with AZ just in front by 2-1 at the interval thanks to Billy French and Jack Mathieson.

Oakfield kept in the game with a Scott Howsam strike, but AZ stretched their lead after the break through French and Ryan Green (2).

AZ’s man of the match was Tom McGhee-Lusty, who controlled their midfield for most of the game.

Top scorers in the division were Real Man of Kent, who demolished Meopham Reserves 10-3.

Meopham’s consolations came courtesy of Paul Haylock and Darryl Walsh (2).

Ash Green have been improving week by week and gained their fourth win in six games to reach third in the table with a 3-1 triumph at Fleetway Printers.

Already three goal to the good at the midway point thanks to a great 35-yard strike by Ian Welsh and a Paul Bradbury brace, they conceded a solitary goal in the second period, which was grabbed by James Bateman.

Fleetway will rue missing three clear cut chances in the first half which could have turned a game officiated by their own player, Peter Price, who stepped up to the role as there was no official referee available.

Tom Dunmall and club secretary Colin Markham earned Horton Kirby a 2-0 win at Joydens Wood.

Baldeep Thind struck a hat-trick for NK Aces in a 4-2 win at Premier Division leaders Craggs Farm, who weren’t helped by having two players sent off.

Daniel Sharkey was Aces’ other scorer, while Tony Swann and Luke Mannerings kept Craggs in contention.
