DARTFORD Town U13s suffered cup agony, losing 6-5 after extra time in their League Cup final against Real Gima.

The game went to Extra Time at 4 v 4 after Jack May, scoring three, had put Dartford Town into a 4-2 lead.

However, two Real Gima goals, one 13 seconds from full time forced the game into extra time.

Real Gima then took the lead in extra time before Dartford Town equalised but it was Real Gima who with two minutes to go went on to win the game 6-5 after extra-time.

It was a hard to take defeat especially after leading the game 2-1 and then 4-2 in normal time but only to lose after extra time.

The man of the match as picked by the referee on the day went to our own Jack May for his fabulous performance inluding four of Dartford Town FC's five goals.

In other league games around the club, the under-12s swept aside Northfleet Eagles for the second week running with an 11-1 win.

The under-10s drew 2-2 in a tight game against Swnascombe Tigers Yellow.

Next week we have a full league program of fixtures across the club before more Cup Finals on May 17 and May 24 for Dartford Town FC.
