Cray Wanderers 3-0 Eastbourne Town, Cray have finished runners-up in the Ryman League Division One South, and now go into the play-offs to seek promotion into the Ryman Premier.

Cray needed to win against Eastbourne to secure second place - their highest-ever finish position since they joined the Ryman League five years ago.

Two goals in 60 seconds from livewire striker Leigh Bremner put Cray in the driving seat early in the second half, after a nervous first half that brought plenty of chances for the Wands that they couldn't convert into goals.

With the cushion of a two goal lead, the Wands brought on three substitutes and coasted through to the final whistle with Scott Kinch adding a further goal near the end.

Second place in the table has given Cray home advantage in the play-offs, with Worthing the visitors on Tuesday evening 28 April (7.45pm) in the semi-final.

If Cray should win through their semi-final they will be at home next Saturday to either Fleet Town or Metropolitan Police in the play-off final.
