Cray Wanderers continued their pre-season programme with two victories in the last week.

Firstly, on Saturday, the Wands travelled to Rotherhithe to face Fisher at the St. Pauls Stadium.  Despite dominating the first half, Cray trailed at half time courtesy of a soft penalty award.

However, Cray turned things around after the break and within a minute of the restart Luke Medley levelled the scores from Warren Whitely’s right wing cross.  Whitely then put Cray in front, ten minutes after half time.  It became 3-1 in the 78th minute when Mitchell Nelson powered home a header from an Anthony Adesite’s right wing corner.   Fisher pulled a goal back with two minutes to go but Cray held on to win 3-2.

On Tuesday night, Cray travelled to face Corinthian at Gay Dawn Farm and the Wands secured a solid if unspectacular 1-0 victory with the winning goal coming in the 35th minute from a super strike from Barney Williams.

Cray have three games coming up in the next seven days.  Firstly, on Saturday 22nd July, Cray travel to Bearsted for 3pm kick off at Honey Lane.  Then on Tuesday, 25th July, Cray are at Park View Road to take on Erith & Belvedere (7.45pm) finishing up on Friday, 28th April (7.45pm) in a local derby at Glebe.
