Cray Wanderers kept their unbeaten run going to four league matches after their third 2-2 draw in four games at lowly Molesey.   A draw was probably a fair result at the end of the day as both sides had spells of dominance in the game with Molesey having the better of the first half whilst Cray played a lot better in the second.

Cray started sluggishly but went in front against the run of play in the 17th minute when Danny Haynes struck his seventeenth goal of the season from the penalty spot after he was brought down by home keeper Liam Allen.  Molesey hit the post and forced Sam Roach to make a fine save before Joe Nwoko deservedly put them level in the 37th minute after the Wands gave the ball away.

Cray were the better side in the second half and Brandon Scott saw a pushed behind by Allen but fell behind to a stunning strike from Joe Pratley-Jones in the 59th minute.  The Wands though are a gutsy side and  Lea Dawson brought Cray back in to the game with his fifth goal of the season converting a header from Jey Siva’s free kick with fifteen minutes to go.  Cray drop down two places to ninth following other results on Saturday.
