Cray returned to winning ways after three games without a win with victory against Three Bridges at Hayes Lane.  A hat-trick on his home league debut by Danny Haynes set the Wands on the way to three points.

Cray went ahead in the 25th minute when a fine ball out to the right found the pacey Haynes who ran on and cut into the box and shot underneath keeper Martin Grant with a powerfully hit shot for his first league goal for Cray.

Three Bridges got back into the game in the 36th minute when Alan Tait was brought down in the box by Solomon Taiwo for a penalty.  The spot kick was fired home decisively by Makeem Adelakun.

However, in the 57th minute they retook the lead when Roberts incisive pass found Haynes again down the right and showing great pace fired home with a cross-shot.

Haynes completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute from the penalty spot after he was fouled inside the area by Dan Mobsby.

Three Bridges pulled a goal back two minutes from time when Tait converted the third penalty of the game to make it a nervy last few minutes.

Cray has a massive let off in injury time when Devon Fender burst through on a one-on-one with Blue but pulled his shot wide of goal much to the Wands relief.

The Wands are ninth in the Isthmian League table and are at home again on Wednesday night when Hythe Town are the visitors to Hayes Lane.
