After four games on the road, Cray Wanderers return to Hayes Lane on Saturday as Three Bridges meet the Wands in league action for the very first time.

Cray go into the game on the back of their first league defeat of the season at 2nd placed Dorking Wanderers and will be looking to bounce back with their first home game since 27th August.   The Wands go into the game in 11th place in the table and without a win in three league and cup games but far too early in the season for any negativity.

The Wands have started many games this season very quickly and played well in the opening halves against Ramsgate and Dorking before being pegged back in the second half of both matches.   They certainly have been creating chances and with two home games coming up they will be looking to perhaps be a bit more clinical in front of goal when on top of games.

Five first team players played for the U21s in midweek, Danny Haynes, Sean Roberts, Taylor McDonagh, Jai McKinlay and Lee Prescott giving them all a chance to improve fitness with a free midweek of league games.  Jonte Smith’s month loan period came to an end at Dorking but there are no shortage of goals within the team and there are plenty of potential match winners in Tony Russell’s side.

Three Bridges travel to Hayes Lane 14th in the league table after their first league win of the season last Saturday at home to Molesey.   Paul Fiali’s side though were beaten 5-0 at Worthing in the League Cup in midweek but should not be underestimated and are a good footballing side.

Three Bridges have been members of the Isthmian League since 2012-13 following promotion from the Sussex County League and last season finished in fourteenth place.

Admission costs:  £10.00 adults, £4.00 concessions/U16s/Students on presentation of card.
