Mark Goldberg is hoping to seal two more Welling United signings by the end of the week.
Goldberg admitted that he was still trying to bolster his squad ahead of the 2016/17 campaign after Welling’s pre-season defeat to Charlton on Saturday.
A central midfielder and a winger are at the top of Goldberg’s wish list, while the club may also look to sign another striker.
Goldberg said: “We need to strengthen a little bit more and we are on the verge of doing that hopefully.
“We’re hoping to wrap up two more signings this week – one central midfielder and a winger who has recently been playing in America.”
