Cray moved three points clear at the top of Isthmian League North with a comprehensive victory against Redbridge in front of the biggest crowd of the season at Hayes Lane on Sunday afternoon.
The Wands took the lead in the 39th minute when Ben Payne planted a header into the net for his first goal of the season.
Cray went two up on 42 minutes when Karl Dent ran into the box and tucked home an accomplished finish.
In the 63rd minute the game was all but over with a third goal for Cray. A free kick from 30 yards out on the right was floated in by Duckworth, Nick Reeves flicked the ball on and Ray Powell had a tap in from 2 yards out.
In the 86th minute, the Wands went 4-0 up when Nick Reeves put a superb through ball to Powell who ran and tucked home a superb finish from 16 yards.
A minute later it was 5-0 when this time Powell was the provider as he picked out Dent who placed the into the net for his second of the game.
Cray are next in action on Tuesday evening in a top of the table clash as Thamesmead Town visit Hayes Lane.
