NORTH Kent District U12s’ football team won the inter-district Kent Cup after by defeating Maidstone District 3-2 in the final at the Gallagher Stadium.
Captain Johl Powell struck twice and there was a solo effort from winger Joedon Gugas-Cowin in a game controlled by North Kent for long periods.
Coach Matt Turner said: “This is only the start of things to come for this team.
“If we can keep hold of our players and remain together, then we will receive much more success in the future and collect many more happy memories along the way.”
