SPECIAL tours are being held to mark Greenwich’s royal and Olympic status.

A 90-minute walk with a royal theme, focusing on the many kings and queens who have links with the area, runs on February 11 and February 18.

Further walks takes place on March 3, April 7 and May 5.

More events are planned in the build-up to London 2012, with a stroll through Greenwich Park which will follow the equestrian cross country course.

Guides will talk about the area’s sporting heritage, archaeological treasures and history of the park.

It runs on March 4, April 1 and May 6.

Advanced booking is essential. Call 0757 577 2298, email guides@greenwichtours.co.uk or visit greenwichtours.co.uk
