Cray Wanderers have been informed by the Kent County FA that the Kent Senior Cup final will be held over until the start of next season.
Cray and their opponents Ebbsfleet United had been struggling to find a suitable date for the final to be played in either April or early May, due to each team's busy end-of-season fixture list.
The 'Fleet are to play Torquay United in the FA Trophy final at Wembley Stadium on 10 May, and have been working their way through a backlog of League fixtures caused by their cup run.
Cray have been focused upon the promotion play-offs in the Ryman League, and have had their schedule disrupted by the bad weather that called off their semi-final at home to Metropolitan Police on Tuesday night.
With the Kent Senior Cup final now being held over till next season, Cray will play their last home match against Metropolitan Police tonight Thursday 1 May (7.45pm). If they are successful, they will play Tooting & Mitcham away in the play-off final on Saturday 3 May (3pm).
