Cray manager Ian Jenkins has the play-offs on his mind as the Wands ready themselves for a dramatic end of season bid for promotion
Tooting & Mitcham United 2-0 Cray Wanderers
CRAY'S 28-game unbeaten run in the League came to an end against promotion-chasing rivals Tooting & Mitcham on Saturday.
The result means that Tooting now move into second place while Cray drop to third, although both sides are already assured of being in the play-offs at the end of April.
The play-offs between the teams finishing second to fifth will determine who accompanies the champions Dover Athletic into the Ryman Premier next season.
Cray had plenty of possession and played well at Tooting but couldn't recover from conceding an early goal in the 12th minute, and were caught on the break when Tooting netted their second goal a minute from time.
Cray manager Ian Jenkins rested leading scorer Michael Power and skipper Jamie Kempster who both have hamstring strains.

With two weeks of the season remaining before the play-offs start, Jenkins will want to keep his players sharp, and avoiding further injuries in the squad, during their final two games at home to Burgess Hill Town and away to Chipstead.
Cray are at home to Burgess Hill this Saturday (3pm) and will announce the winner of Player of the Season as voted by the supporters.
Cray's run of 28 unbeaten games in League football was just three short of the all-time club record of 31 games in 1974-75. That was the season when Cray were managed by Johnny Biddle, the team captain was Phil Emblen, and the Wands were champions of the Met London League.
