Cray manager Ian Jenkins came on as sub during the 5-0 win against Horsham YMCA on Saturday.

Cray Wanderers 5 Horsham YMCA 0, Ryman Division One South, Saturday 5.4.08, Cray maintained their second place in the table with an easy 5-0 win against Horsham YMCA who will be relegated after this defeat.

Cray manager Ian Jenkins rested some of his first team players and gave himself a late run-out as substitute, with the game well won.

George Fenwick headed Cray into the lead after 3 minutes and skipper Jamie Kempster netted just before half time.

Dean Morris made it three with a superb shot in the 59th minute.

Ryan Royston headed home from corner-kicks, both taken by Ross Lover, in the 70th and 87th minutes to complete the rout.

Dover Athletic have now clinched the championship and the one automatic promotion into the Ryman Premier for next season.

With three games remaining, Cray hold second place with a four point lead over third-placed Tooting & Mitcham who have five more games to play.

Cray travel to Tooting next Saturday 12 April (3pm) for a game that looks certain to be crucial in deciding who will finish second in the table and thereby gain home advantage in the play-offs for the second promotion place at the end of April.
