Lillies chief Simon Osborn is looking for his side to bounce back from Saturday's loss at Bishop's Stortford. EDMUND BOYDEN
SIMON Osborn admits his Bromley side slipped up at the weekend but remains high spirited about his team's chance of a play-off position finish.
The Lillywhites came away empty handed after their visit to Bishop's Stortford resulted in a 2-0 loss.
Osborn considered the game to be a six-pointer and knows the loss has dented their push for promotion which has left the club lying 10th in the Blue Square South.
The player-manager said: "It's not the end of our campaign by any means as the table's extremely tight, but if we won we could have been sitting in a much stronger position.
"In theory we need to win five of our seven remaining fixtures which seems a tough ask, but if we find our best form we'll be a difficult team to beat for any opposition.
"We need to take this mentality into our next game on Saturday."

Unfortunately for Osborn, Bromley's forthcoming fixture is against league leaders Eastbourne Borough who are fighting for automatic promotion.
The Lillywhites manager knows his team has an uphill battle for promotion, but retains full faith his side can deliver, starting with their weekend visit to the Priory Lane Stadium.
He said: "We know Eastbourne are going to be tough to beat, they're top of the league and they are there for a reason.
"We need to try our hardest and give it our all. I've told the boys they need to treat every game as if it's a cup final.
"If we play as we know we can, I'm confident we can take home the three points."
Bromley have two away matches in the space of three days and the player-manager admits squad rotation could be a possibility.
He also has the luxury of not having to worry about any serious injuries nor suspensions.
Osborn said: "To ask some of the players to play a full 180 minutes in the space of three days is a big ask.
"The players' performances will speak for themselves and what they do on the training ground and on Saturday will help me chose the team for Monday's game against Cambridge City.
"We have no suspensions to worry about and no major injuries.
"Danny Hockton has a slight knee problem, but we're confident he'll feature at the weekend."
