Neil Harris has highlighted some of the defining moments in Millwall’s season.

The Lions just missed out on the play-offs, but they could finish as high as seventh if results go their way on the final day of the season.

Doing the double over Leeds, beating QPR at the Den and going 17 league games unbeaten - it’s been a memorable 2017/18 campaign.

“I think Jed’s goal at Leeds was a defining moment in the 17-game unbeaten run,” Millwall manager Harris told News Shopper.

“It was our first away win, I think that was really key. I was delighted for the fanbase with the home win over QPR at Christmas. It was important for the fans to win that London derby.

“The atmosphere during the first-half of the Fulham game was one of the best I’ve ever known in my time at the club as a manager and player. It was phenomenal - better than any cup or play-off game I’ve ever been involved in.

“That was special - it was unique. The atmosphere at kick-off and full-time was special because not many Millwall teams lose 3-0 live on Sky and get a standing ovation when they come off.

“I think that was a real defining moment for me to say ‘we’ve got that unity and connection between everybody’ and that’s important. It’s important for me. We’ve worked so hard to try to get that and now we’ve got to keep improving.”
