A first-half stunner from Jed Wallace and a fine Steve Morison strike just after half-time extended Millwall’s unbeaten run to 15 games to keep them just a point off the top-six.

Here is how News Shopper rated Millwall's players...

Jordan Archer – 6 – Spectator for much of the afternoon but dealt with everything he needed to.

Mahlon Romeo - 8 – Another excellent performance. Affective at both ends of the pitch and linked up well extremely well with Wallace.

Shaun Hutchinson - 8 – Like he has been for most of this season, didn’t put a foot wrong.

Jake Cooper - 8 – Put the mistake at Ipswich last week to the back of his mind and was back to his best. Made a fine tackle to deny Jamie Paterson in the second-half, when the goal was gaping.

James Meredith - 7 – Unsung here for the Lions this season. Quietly went about his business again and put in another battling display.

Jed Wallace - 8 – His seventh and best goal of the season put the Lions ahead. Wallace picked the ball up on the left before curling an unstoppable effort, high into the top-corner. MAN-OF-THE-MATCH.

Shaun Williams – 7 – Unable to express his passing ability, but did his defensive working brilliantly, no more so than a fine block on Paterson late in the game.

George Saville – 7 – Should been sitting on 11 Championship goals for the season, but his close-range effort somehow failed to find the back of the Bristol City net.

Ben Marshall – 7 – Looked a threat and played a fine pass for Wallace’s opening goal, his third assist in as many games.

Steve Morison - 7 – Scored for the first time in eight games and it was one to saviour. His fine curling effort left Frank Fielding helpless. Should have scored a second minutes later, but his effort was blocked on the line.

Lee Gregory – 8 – Work-rate was up there with the best it’s been this season. Chased down every lost cause, regaining possession on several occasions for his side. Played a cute pass for Morison’s goal.
