Millwall boss Neil Harris believes a playoff place is a reality after his side won 2-0 against Nottingham Forest on Good Friday.

It’s now the Lions’ fourth consecutive Sky Bet Championship win as they move closer to the top six, and their 13th game unbeaten.

Shaun Williams scored after just 26 seconds to set them on their way before Lee Gregory doubled the lead for his 10th league goal this season.

Harris told News Shopper: “The dressing room are driving it [playoff ambitions], that comes from good leadership in there and good characters. Playoffs are a reality, well at the moment they are.

“We just focus one game at a time. It helps having no pressure on us. As we stand, a point off the top six. We roll onto the next one and onto Monday. All the boys care about is beating Ipswich on Monday.

“Straight after the game, they high-five each other, cuddle each other, then straight away, it's Monday now, go beat Ipswich. Let’s go and get seven away wins in a row.

"That’s the focus of the group."

After their trip to Portman Road, it will be their reverse fixture against Bristol City that comes next following a draw against the Robins last time out in August.

Another victory would certainly help force other teams to reckon Millwall as contenders for a top six finish.

Harris added: “We have had to work long and hard in this unbeaten run, 13 league games unbeaten since New Year’s Day. We have still got seven more to go and what we have achieved so far has been miraculous, but I want more from the players. I have just told them that.

“Players hear me talking about away wins and records and them achieving, they must think I am a broken record! [But] they are important for standards, they are important for hunger.

“I like winning, I love winning games. I love seeing the boys win.”
