A late Aiden O’Brien strike gave Millwall their second straight home win and condemned Leeds to their first defeat of the season.

Here is how News Shopper rated Millwall's players ...

Jordan Archer - 7 - Seems to have brushed off the nerves from earlier in the season. A relatively quiet afternoon and dealt with everything he had to with confidence.

Conor McLaughlin - 8 - Seems to have a terrific understanding with Wallace and when the two combined they created plenty of openings. Defensively faultless.

Shaun Hutchinson - 7 - Won absolutely everything in the air. Did not give Pierre-Michel Lasogga a sniff all afternoon.

Byron Webster - 7 - Another assured performance and should have given his side the lead early in the second-half but shot straight at Wiedwald, but other than that, he was excellent.

James Meredith - 8 - Seems like a player made for these types of games. Was not afraid to put himself about and the home fans will have been delighted with him.

Jed Wallace - 9 - Most of Millwall’s attacks came through him. Vurnon Anita could not handle him down the right and once he realised, ran at him whenever possible. Final product let him down at times, but so dangerous when given space. Unlucky not to score his fourth of the campaign after crashing the post. Man of the match.

Shaun Williams - 7 - As he does most weeks, controlled the middle of the park. Won every battle and nearly opened the scoring just before the break with a long-range effort.

George Saville - 7 - Not his usual self. Game seemed to pass him by and his performance was summed up by a late miss.

Aiden O’Brien - 7 - Worked extremely hard, showing some nice touches, but didn’t have the effect in the final-third that he usually does. That was until he slammed home the only goal of the game on 73 minutes.

Fred Onyedinma - 7 - An encouraging first start of the season. Got into some good positions, but his decision-making let him down too many times. Had a great chance midway through the second half, but completely misjudged his header off target. Played a vital part in the goal, unintentionally though.

Steve Morison - 7 - Ran the line well and was unlucky not to score his first goal of the season. Was marginally offside when firing home a loose ball after Felix Wiedwald fumbled. Also had a second-half header cleared off the line.
