League Two new boys Lincoln have taken Millwall defender Noah Chesmain on trial.

Chesmain, 19, made his Lions debut in 2015, coming on as a late substitute against Bury.

The left-back had a successful loan spell at Welling United last year, and could get his Football League chance with Lincoln.

The Imps, who wowed the nation by reaching the quarter finals of the FA Cup last season, won the National League title to gain promotion into England’s fourth tier.

And Chesmain, who hasn't made a league appearance since his debut two years ago, would be a handy addition to Danny Cowley’s squad.

He is part of Lincoln’s training camp in Portugal and played in their defeat to Benfica B on Wednesday.
