Former Millwall midfielder Liam Trotter has been released by Bolton.
Bolton won promotion back to the Championship last month, with Trotter predominantly featuring from the bench.
The 28-year-old made 73 appearances and scored six goals during his three years at the Macron Stadium.
MORE: Millwall interested in prolific League Two midfielder
Trotter has had three spells with Millwall, and is well-known by boss Neil Harris.
If the Lions fail to beat Bradford in the League One play-off final on May 20, Trotter could be a useful squad player next term.
The ex-Ipswich man won’t be short of offers after establishing himself as a reliable Championship and League One player.
