Bolton Wanderers have signed Chris Taylor on a free transfer.

Taylor, who was a free agent following the expiration of his contract at Blackburn, joins the League One club on a two-year deal.

The 29-year-old played over 60 league games for Blackburn between 2013 and 2016 but found regular game time hard to come by last season.

He was loaned out to former club Millwall in February and proved an instant hit with Lions fans after scoring an early goal in his second debut at the Den.

Taylor helped Neil Harris’ side reach the play-off final but Millwall were eventually beaten 3-1 by Barnsley at Wembley.
