Reaching the League One play-off final is fantastic – but nothing has been achieved yet.

That is the verdict of Millwall striker Steve Morison, who scored and set-up two assists in the Lions’ impressive semi-final victory over Bradford.

Neil Harris’ side drew 1-1 at the Den after beating the Bantams 3-1 at Valley Parade to secure a shot at promotion at Wembley.

Morison said: “It’s fantastic to get to Wembley. This is what we’ve been working towards since we knew we couldn’t get automatic promotion.

“If you can pick a way to get promoted this is the best route, but on the other hand going to Wembley and losing is a bad place.”

Millwall’s opponents on Sunday will be Barnsley, who only guaranteed a top-six finish on the last day of the season with victory at champions Wigan.

The Tykes then thrashed Walsall 6-1 over two legs to move to within one win of Championship football.

Morison, 32, hopes the Lions can take their chance and bounce straight back to the second tier of English football.

He added in an interview with Sky Sports: “It’s great to be there [at Wembley] but we’ve achieved nothing yet.

“All we’ve done is given ourselves a chance – now we have to try and take it.”
