Millwall have joined Norwich and Brighton in the transfer race for non-league sensation Ashley Nadesan, according to the Daily Mail.

It is claimed that the Lions have taken Nadesan on trial after the 22-year-old has bagged 50 goals in the Combined Counties League Premier Division for Horley Town.

The in-form striker has attracted the attention of Premier League side Norwich, Championship high-flyers Brighton and Colchester and Crawley.

Horley manager Anthony Jupp told the Crawley News: “It's an exciting time for him and we are going to do whatever we can to help him out.

“If he needs permission to talk to a club or go on a trial then that's fine because we want what is best for him.

“He has been with us for four years now, one with the youth team and three with the first team, and each season he has improved but we know there is a ceiling on that.

“He needs to make the step up now and get some professional, full-time training and really test himself. Everyone at Horley Town is really excited for Ashley and looking forward to seeing where he ends up.”
