Mahlon Romeo is being tracked by several Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window, but Millwall hope to tie him down on a new deal, reports say.
The highly-rated defender turned out for Arsenal and Wycombe’s youth clubs before signing his first professional contract with Gillingham in 2012.

After joining Millwall last May, Romeo made his full debut for the Lions in February, scoring a superb goal in a 3-0 win over Walsall.
Since then the 20-year-old has featured heavily for Neil Harris’s side, with his impressive form coinciding with Millwall’s superb run in League One.
His performances have not gone unnoticed and the Sun report that the right-back has been scouted by top flight clubs.

It is claimed that the Westminster-born star is out of contract in the summer and could be a target for several teams.
However, the Lions are said to be working on a new deal for Romeo in the hope that he commits his long-term future to the club.
