Neil Harris was delighted with his side’s effort and determination in the 0-0 draw against Bradford City at the Den on Saturday.

The Lions, who are now unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions, piled on the pressure on visiting Bradford in the second half but were unable to find the breakthrough.

And Harris, 38, insisted there were plenty of positives to take from the outing.

“I’m delighted with the clean sheet, the effort and the determination,” he said.

“The defending was fantastic at times.

“Perhaps we lacked a little bit of quality all over the park – we put a lot of balls into their back line and I thought Steve Morison put in a terrific performance.

“As a team we weren’t always proactive onto the ball.

“Maybe that’s a sign that it was a game too far for a few of the bodies out there.

“In the whole I’m delighted with the performance and the point and how far we’ve come since the result against Peterborough.”

After enduring a 5-3 defeat to the Posh on October 3, Millwall have conceded just two goals in six games.

And Harris applauded his team’s efforts on the training ground to tighten up at the back.

He added: “It’s a lot of hard work on the training ground but it’s their players and their desire.

“It’s not just the back four – it’s the team’s shape and bravery and aggression – we speak about that a lot in the dressing room.

“We’ve adjusted a few things and improved.”

Harris’s only concern following the hard-earned point against Bradford was the fitness of Tony Craig, who hobbled off in the second half following a superb block to deny James Hanson a scoring opportunity.

The Millwall manager said: “It’s too early to tell [how serious Craig’s injury is] – he’s got a sore knee and some pain but we don’t know what it is yet or how he’ll settle down.

“It was a great tackle, fingers crossed because he’s been exceptional.”
