Michael Tonge will bring a wealth of experience to Millwall's midfield
Millwall have signed central midfielder Michael Tonge on loan from Leeds United until the end of the campaign.
The 31-year-old former England U21 international made his name at Sheffield United before sealing a switch to Stoke City in 2008.
He initially joined Leeds on loan from the Potters before completing a permanent transfer to Elland Road in 2013, representing the Yorkshire side 59 times in total and scoring four goals.
Tonge is the Lions’ first deadline day deal and is expected to go straight into the squad for Saturday’s Den meeting with Huddersfield Town.
