The prospect of facing Chelsea will inspire Millwall in their FA Cup replay away at Bradford, Ian Holloway believes.
Millwall must overcome Bradford, after drawing 3-3 with them at The Den, to earn an FA Cup fourth-round trip to Premier League leaders Chelsea.
“It’s a massive incentive because they are the best team in the country at the moment,” Holloway said.
“But we are not even thinking of Chelsea because we have got a really tough replay at Bradford to try and win, and before then there is also a huge League game against Blackpool on Saturday.
“We can only afford to focus on one game at a time because if you take your eye off the next target then you can fail to achieve your goals.
“It would be a great tie for the club, especially the fans, and the players won’t need any more incentive against Bradford. We need to go up there and put in a really good display because winning that game could kick-start our season.”
