Ian Holloway has praised the arrival of winger Paris Cowan-Hall.

The 24 year old, recruited from Wycombe Wanderers, appears to satisfy some of Holloway’s desire to add pace to his side but appears likely to be only their first signing of the January transfer window.

He has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract after Millwall agreed an undisclosed fee with Wycombe.

“Long-term, I think he’s gonna be a really good signing,” Holloway said.

“I like his ability. I like the skills what he’s got – really suit what we need. I think our fans will love him. He don’t stop running, he don’t stop challenging.

“He’s got great delivery from the right-hand side.

“And I think he’s improving, he’s the right sort of age, I think he’ll only get better. I’m really excited about getting him. I’m delighted we managed to do it so early, we’ve been planning it for a while.”

As part of Millwall’s agreement, Fred Onyedinma will remain on loan at Wycombe until the season’s end.

“Loaning them Fred is two hits for me, because he’ll get some experience for me for next year. I knew they didn’t wanna lose Paris but I’ve given them a ready-made replacement who’s six years younger.

“Hopefully he’ll get a chance to play and I’ve got him coming back in the summer as well.”
