NEIL Warnock has told News Shopper Nottingham Forest have not tabled a £3m bid for Victor Moses.

Reports elsewhere claimed Billy Davies had made a formal offer to land the highly rated midfield ace and although Warnock confirmed Forest had expressed an interest, it didn’t amount to a formal bid yet.

He said: “No, it isn’t something I’m aware of.

“We’ve spoken to a number of Premier League clubs and Forest and West Brom in the Championship, but there has been nothing concrete at all."

When asked if there had been any bids for Palace players other than Moses, Warnock said: “Again, it isn’t something I’m aware of but the chairman is dealing with all of that.”

The Eagles chief also conceded it is highly unlikely Palace will be bringing anyone in before the transfer window closes at the end of the month as things stand.

“I don’t think we can yet, unless we sold somebody first,” he added.

Crystal Palace take a break from their Championship play-off chase this Saturday when they visit Wolves in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Moses has been struggling with an injury all week but the manager is confident he may still have a role to play at Molineux.

Warnock said: “I think all we can do is our best really.

“We’ve got a good group of lads, we’ve got a couple cup tied so we’re a bit thin on the ground this week, but that is nothing new for us.

“Sean Scannell’s out injured and Victor’s got a knock, but we’re hoping he should feature and be able to play his part in the game.”
