Top of the table Dartford attracted a bumper crowd of 1,306 for the Boxing Day local derby against fifth from bottom Cray, but the form-book was turned upside down as the Wands took the game to the home side and were well worth a point in an entertaining 1-1 draw.
Mark Willy gave the visitors a deserved lead after 29 minutes, heading in Ross Lover's free-kick.
Dartford equalised in the 37th minute, with substitute Danny Harris on hand to score.
It looked to be there for the taking for Cray when their opponents were reduced to ten men in the second half, with Lee Burns sent off for hacking down Leigh Bremner.
Cray duly applied pressure but Adam Flanagan starred in defence for the Darts, and the Wands couldn't find the target when their best efforts came from Tyrone Sterling and Colin Luckett.
