THE return of Beckenham Town’s leading marksmen Jake Hobbs and Elstrom Die always promised to produce goals against lowly Deal Town in Saturday's Kent League game at Eden Park Avenue.
And the deadly duo didn't disappoint, producing five goals between them in Becks 7-0’ victory.
Die scored a second half hat-trick in a blistering five-minute spell, while Hobbs added another two, his second from the penalty spot was his 14th successful strike from the spot this season.
Becks were three goals up after an hour through Alfie Nunn, skipper Jason Rose and Hobbs when Deal keeper Chris Waymark was injured bringing down Die as he rounded him in the area.
Referee Mark Scott had no option but to show the injured Waymark a red card and Hobbs added his second, and Becks’ fourth, from the resulting penalty.
Die’s second half hat-trick completed a difficult afternoon for Deal, with the result keeping Becks fourth in the table.
