BROMLEY boss Mark Goldberg was still able to look on the bright side despite Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to Maidenhead United.
He told News Shopper: “I was very disappointed with the result on Saturday but I think there were a lot of positives that we could take from the game.
“We’ve got to be very happy with the new players we have brought into the squad and I think they all contributed.
“If we can look long term, then we’ve got to believe we have got a much stronger squad now than what we had prior to the turn of the new year.
“Maidenhead are a hard working team and I think we can probably safely say we didn't deserve to lose the game.
“I am actually very positive about the second half of the season and I’m pleased with the addition to the management team as I feel Hayden Bird has been a great support to us since he has come in.
“We’ve got to look forwards and not backwards and we have got to bounce back against Hampton & Richmond Borough on Saturday.”
