VCD ATHLETIC are through to the semi-final of the Kent Premier Division Cup after a 3-2 extra-time aggregate win over Beckenham Town.
In a game filled with controversial refereeing decisions, Becks had Steve McNamara (80th minute), Jake Hobbs (100th minute) and skipper Jason Rose (110 minutes) all sent off.
As in the first leg, which Beckenham won 2-1, Becks had the majority of both possession and chances but were denied by a series of saves from the Vickers keeper.
After a scoreless first half, James Duckworth scored the vital goal for the home side in the 65th minute to bring the aggregate scores level at 2-2 and send the game into extra-time.
Becks went behind for the first time in the two legs when Daryl Wheeler put Vickers ahead in the second period of extra-time.
The visitors then had what looked like a valid penalty claim turned down by referee Kevin Welsh who, having awarded the spot lick, changed his decision after a discussion with his assistant.
