Defender to miss out on Halifax cup trip

LEON Cort will miss Sunday’s FA Cup match against FC Halifax Town after being called up by Guyana for their crucial 2014 World Cup qualification double-header against Trinidad and Tobago on Friday and next Tuesday.

Up to 250 fans could travel north to the game after the Addicks players contributed to free coach travel places for supporters.

The game is also being televised by ITV.

A FRACTURED rib sustained by keeper Conor Gough looks set to rule him out of Saturday’s FA Cup first-round clash between loan club Salisbury City and Arlesey Town.

Gough was stretchered off in City’s 2-1 defeat to Dartford on Saturday and looks likely to be sidelined for several weeks.

FANS can secure a place at five of Charlton’s league games in 2012 for less than the price of four following the launch of the Jackson’s Five flexible multi-ticket.

REDUCED season tickets are now available at The Valley covering the final 13 matches of the 2011/12 campaign and, starting from the January 2 match against Brentford, would be a perfect Christmas present.

Places are priced from £160 adults, £110 over 60s and U21s, £50 U18s and £30 U11s, and can be purchased from the Valley commercial centre or by calling 0871 226 1905.

ACADEMY midfielder Bradley Goldberg made his debut for Bromley on Saturday in a 2-1 defeat for Conference South side at Boreham Wood on Saturday.

Goldberg had joined the club, managed by his father Mark, on work experience 24 hours earlier.

He will be hoping to be selected for Bromley’s FA Cup first-round tie at Leyton Orient on Saturday.

The Huddersfield match was due to take place two days earlier but has been switched to be shown live on Sky.

THE first special Valley Gold shopping day, where members can get a 15 per cent reduction in the run-up to Christmas, takes place today. The second day takes place on December 3.

TICKETS for Charlton’s next away league match against Brentford on November 19 (3pm) have all sold out, but tickets went on general sale yesterday for the trip to Walsall on December 10.

CHARLTON’S women’s team drew 1-1 with Reading at Bayliss Avenue on Sunday thanks to Ellie Bailes’ equaliser after top scorer Gemma Bryan had missed a penalty.

The Addicks next travel to Aston Villa on Sunday (2pm).

FANS can now purchase a 2012 Charlton calendar from the club’s Valley Superstore and via cafc.co.uk.

Also newly added to the store’s shelves is a luggage range manufactured by Addicks kit supplier Macron.

TICKETS are now available for the Charlton Community Trust’s Christmas dinner on December 1 at The Valley.

The fundraising night is supporting the trust’s numerous community initiatives across the south east and tickets are priced £60.
