Sodje brothers team up again in SE7

AKPO Sodje returned to Charlton for the rest of the season after joining on loan from Sheffield Wednesday on transfer-deadline day yesterday.

The striker, who scored twice in nine appearances for the Addicks earlier this term, is available for tonight’s match against Walsall.

ADDICKS fans who sign up for a five-year season ticket when they go on sale this month will be able to enjoy the club’s boardroom facilities with a guest.

Charlton announced last month the club’s season-ticket prices for 2010/11 are being frozen until March 31, regardless of whether the team wins promotion back to the Championship later this year.

If promotion is secured, adult and senior/U21 prices will then rise to at least the 2008/09 Championship rates.

KYEL Reid became the 700th player to appear for the Addicks when he made his debut on Saturday, one day after signing on loan from Sheffield United.

The left winger was withdrawn after 70 minutes against Tranmere Rovers after suffering from sore calves.

Meanwhile, David Mooney’s loan deal from Reading was last week extended until the end of the season, while Dean Sinclair joined League Two strugglers Grimsby Town last Thursday.

TICKETS are currently on general sale for the home matches against Yeovil Town on February 20 (3pm) and Brighton & Hove Albion on February 23 (7.45pm).

Seats are priced £17, £22 and £25 adults, £17 over 60s and U21s, and £5 U18s and are available from the Valley commercial centre, via cafc.co.uk or on 0871 226 1905.

STRIKERS Deon Burton and Chris Dickson are set to tackle questions from Young Addicks when they appear at the latest junior supporters’ event on February 18 at 2.30pm.

Free tickets admit one member and one adult, and are available on 0871 226 1906 or by visiting the commercial centre.

TICKETS for Charlton’s away games against Swindon Town (Saturday – 3pm), Bristol Rovers (February 15), and Southend United (February 26 – both 7.45pm) are all currently on sale, with Shrimpers seats initially restricted.

More details are available from the Valley commercial centre or on 0871 226 1905.

GOALKEEPER Rob Elliot is doubtful for tonight’s match against Walsall after injuring his back during Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Tranmere Rovers.

Meanwhile, Sam Sodje returned to action at the weekend after completing his four-game suspension.

CHRIS Dickson was on target for a Charlton reserve side eight days ago.

However, the Addicks, for whom Matt Spring, Chris Solly and Sam Sodje also played, were beaten 2-1 by Watford.

FANS wishing to watch the Addicks from the comfort of a Valley executive box only have four more matches from which to choose – the games against Yeovil Town, Brighton & Hove Albion, Carlisle United and Colchester United.

The boxes seat 10 people and the packages include car parking, a champagne reception and food and drink.

For more information, email sales@cafc.co.uk or call 0871 226 1905.

ANOTHER postponement for Charlton’s U18s last Saturday means it will be fully seven weeks since the senior academy side was in action when the Addicks take on Ipswich Town at home this weekend (11am).

The match against West Ham United was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Meanwhile, the Charlton women’s team’s match against Reading was called off because the Royals were in county cup action.

The Addicks entertain Queens Park Rangers at Erith FC (2pm) on Sunday.

FANS who visit the Valley Superstore can currently take advantage of a series of bargains during a special end-of-line clearance sale, but with limited stock, the reduced prices won’t last for long.

Supporters can also browse the official online Superstore via cafc.co.uk
